Karin Beckérus (solo project Lovi Did This) is a Swedish song writer, artist and producer that currently explores the relationship between humans and nature in her solo project Lovi Did This. She uses dissonant contrasts between the soft and the harsh, often within traditional singer songwriter formats, but her music also wanders into other territories – into soundscapes, avant garde folk pop, post-punk or kraut. No matter the format – the experimental aspect and the emotional authenticity is always present. She works with instrumentation where the bass clarinet or saxophone joins in with haunting drums, fuzzy electric guitars, theremin, the Omnichord, dark synthesizers and cellos creating a song setting full of emotion as a backdrop to her close up vocals. Live she uses choreography and props to make her stage performance multi-dimensional. Her two vintage Omnichords are always with her on stage.
